The banana price increased to R12.89 per kilogram and is still trading significantly higher than a year ago.

Apple prices decreased to R13.48 while pear prices increased to R15.76 per kilogram. I however feel that Apple prices can stay on these price levels over the next 4 weeks while pear prices can start to decrease slightly.

The orange price stayed in its upward trend and increased to R11.20 per kilogram due to volumes decreasing by 13% the past week.

The avo price decreased to R22.81 per kilogram with volumes likely to decrease over the next few months which can support this price from the start of next year. Table grape prices decreased by 40% to R38.79 per kilogram with local production starting to pick up, which will force these prices even lower over the coming months. The pineapple price decreased by 44% and is now trading on R8.63 per kilogram due to 69% more volumes the past week.
