The latest Brent crude oil price has risen to $82.47 per barrel, with recent statistics published on Friday in America indicating that consumer sentiment has fallen to a seven-month low due to personal debt and inflation. In China, production and investment statistics also came in weaker than expected, which has kept pressure on the demand for oil.
The Rand has strengthened significantly to R18.24 per US Dollar with a very favorable outcome from coalition agreements bringing much stability to the markets.
